The 27th International Travel Trade Fair “Balttour 2020”, 31 January – 2 February, will take place at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre, where more than 860 tourism businesses will present tourism season news, top selling products, special offers and best travel deals to destinations in Latvia and around the world!



“The Balttour Travel Trade Fair is an exciting adventure! Feel the diversity of Western and Eastern cultures, as participants from Russia, Uzbekistan, Armenia and Georgia have applied for participation in “Balttour 2020”. Moreover, such a great exposition of Georgia has not yet been seen in Kipsala! More exotic atmosphere, in turn, will be conjured by participants from Cuba, Indonesia and the Seychelles. Travellers will find out information about the Estonian Health Care Museum, the Lithuanian Sea Museum, the History Museum, the Energy Discovery Centre and elsewhere, while SPA Tours, Saaremaa SPA Hotels, Johan SPA Hotel, Tervise Paradiis SPA Hotel & Water Park, Värska Sanatoorium, Eglës sanatorija and others will address the enthusiasts of a lazy recreation.

The Taste of Latvia
In the “Travel Latvia!” hall, participants will inform about travel offers in Latvia’s regions – local sights and landmarks, castles, manors, museums, opportunities for active recreation, culture and entertainment, walking paths, observation towers and other exciting tourist attractions to be included in a travel itinerary. Come and rediscover Latvia! Moreover, the traditional fair of artisan products will offer a variety of regional foods and beverages to taste and buy. Enjoy hospitality, get to know national dishes and make your everyday more Latvian!

Balttour Forum for professionals
On 29 January, “People Work” will host the Balttour 2020 Forum, an introductory event of the “Balttour 2020” Travel Trade Fair. The Forum will be particularly useful for the tourism organisers, tourism product developers and service providers in regions, professionals at Latvian tourism agencies and other specialists in related industries. This year, the Forum participants will discuss how to address children and adolescents more effectively with digital marketing in the tourism sector, or how to use the services of Latvian influencers to promote tourism products, how to use various digital opportunities in a practical and effective way to manage the popularity of tourism products, and other topical issues. Representatives from new destinations recently added to the airBaltic’s flight map will present tourism news and travel opportunities in their countries.
