Discover Samogitia Through Taste, Traditions and Authentic Experiences
At Balttour 2026, the Samogitian Tourism Information Centre will present itself as the ambassador of Telšiai city and district, inviting visitors to explore the region through nature, flavours and genuine cultural experiences.
During the exhibition, visitors will receive comprehensive information about tourism opportunities in Telšiai and its surroundings, including accommodation, catering, attractions, events, guided tours and educational programmes. Both free and paid tourism services will be introduced, with personal consultations available for individual travellers and groups.
A special focus will be placed on experiential tourism. Exhibition guests will be invited to enjoy traditional Samogitian dish tastings, tastings of Counts’ and noble cuisine, as well as the renowned Lithuanian hard cheese “Džiugas”, allowing visitors to experience the region not only through stories, but also through authentic flavours.
The activities of the Samogitian Tourism Information Centre cover a wide range of tourism services, including:
- Collection, management and dissemination of tourism information and publications
- Organisation of guided tours led by professional guides
- Development of experience-based programmes for individuals and groups
- Educational activities such as paper-making workshops, watercolour pouring, postcard creation, family coat-of-arms education, clay modelling and other hands-on workshops
- Sale of souvenirs featuring symbols of Telšiai, Žemaitija and Lithuania
