Discover Kėdainiai – a Historic Town of Stories, Flavours and Living Heritage
At Balttour 2026, visitors are invited to discover Kėdainiai, one of Lithuania’s oldest towns, offering authentic cultural experiences, rich history, local flavours and stories deeply rooted in living traditions.
At the stand of the Kėdainiai Tourism and Business Information Centre, visitors will be introduced to a wide range of tourism experiences suitable for individual travellers, families and organised groups.
Kėdainiai invites guests to explore its well-preserved Old Town, multicultural heritage, manor estates, museums and the surrounding countryside. During the exhibition, visitors will learn about themed guided tours, educational programmes, seasonal events and authentic experiences developed in cooperation with local communities and businesses.
Special attention will be given to:
- guided tours of Kėdainiai Old Town and surrounding manor estates,
- cultural and educational activities for families and school groups,
- local gastronomy, regional products and souvenirs,
- ideas for weekend trips and longer stays in Central Lithuania.
The Kėdainiai Tourism and Business Information Centre is a public organisation established in 2002. It promotes tourism and supports business development in the Kėdainiai region by providing reliable visitor information, organising tours and increasing the region’s visibility in Lithuania and abroad.
Kėdainiai proudly holds the title of Lithuanian Capital of Culture 2026, offering an extensive programme of cultural events and experiences.
