Gourmet Route in Bauska Region
Bauska Region – a place where taste has a story and people have a name.
Not just to see.
To experience – truly and with flavor.
Small-scale producers and farmers of Bauska Region have come together in a delightful project aimed at promoting the recognition and cooperation of local food producers. The project is implemented through a tourism route, masterclasses, and cultural activities, strengthening the local food market, fostering innovation, and supporting community sustainability.
At the exhibition, the Gourmet Route will be presented, along with masterclass demonstrations, product tastings, and opportunities to purchase products.
In Bauska Region, food is not just a product – it is an experience born from the land, hard work, and love for one’s farm. Here, every flavor has an origin, every product has a person behind it, and every visit has a story.
The Gourmet Route in Bauska Region brings together local producers, artisans, and small farmers who grow and make their products themselves and welcome visitors with open doors and hearts. During visits to these farms, guests can taste products, listen to stories, participate in masterclasses, and experience authentic rural life.
This route is designed for those who want not just to see but to experience – to meet people, feel the place, and taste Bauska Region as it truly is.
The Gourmet Route is not a single fixed path but an invitation to discover local producers at your own pace. Farms marked on the map can be visited in any order, creating a personal journey of flavors.
